Library Borrowing Rules / पुस्तकालय उधार नियम

Library users are allowed to issue and return books during the following times:

पुस्तकालय उपयोगकर्ता निम्नलिखित समय के दौरान किताबें जारी (issue) और वापस (return) कर सकते हैं:

·       Morning/ सुबह: 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM

·       Afternoon/ दोपहर: 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM

Note: Users must return issued books within the specified library hours. / 

नोट: उपयोगकर्ताओं को जारी (issue) की गई किताबें निर्धारित पुस्तकालय समय के भीतर वापस (return) करनी होंगी।

Please adhere to the following guidelines:

कृपया निम्नलिखित दिशानिर्देशों का पालन करें:

1. Timely Return: Ensure all borrowed materials are returned by the specified due date./समय पर वापसी: सुनिश्चित करें कि सभी उधार लिए गए सामग्री को निर्दिष्ट तिथि तक वापस कर दिया जाए।

2. Preservation: Marking, writing, or highlighting within books is strictly prohibited./संरक्षण: पुस्तकों में मार्किंग, लेखन, या हाइलाइटिंग की अनुमति नहीं है।

3. Liability: Borrowers are required to compensate for any lost or damaged materials. For information on the replacement process, please contact the library./जिम्मेदारी: उधारकर्ताओं को किसी भी खोई हुई या क्षतिग्रस्त सामग्री के लिए मुआवजा देना होगा। प्रतिस्थापन प्रक्रिया की जानकारी के लिए कृपया लाइब्रेरी से संपर्क करें।

4. Inspection: Prior to leaving the library, verify that the book is free from missing pages, paragraphs, or damage./निरीक्षण: पुस्तकालय से जाते समय यह सुनिश्चित करें कि पुस्तक में कोई पृष्ठ, अनुच्छेद, या क्षति की कमी न हो।

5. Damaged Items: Books that are returned in a damaged condition will not be accepted by library. It is the borrower’s responsibility to repair or replace such items./क्षतिग्रस्त आइटम: ऐसी पुस्तकें जो क्षतिग्रस्त स्थिति में लौटाई जाती हैं, उन्हें पुस्तकालय में स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा। क्षतिग्रस्त वस्तुओं की मरम्मत या प्रतिस्थापन की जिम्मेदारी उधारकर्ता की होगी।

 

Note: Overdue charges for late returns are set at Rs. 5 per day for the first 7 days after the due date. Beyond this period, the fee rises to Rs. 10 per day. Please be aware that Sundays and public holidays are exempt from this calculation, ensuring you have extra time without additional penalties on non-working days.

नोट:विलंब शुल्क के तहत, निर्धारित तिथि के बाद पहले 7 दिनों के लिए Rs. 5 प्रति दिन चार्ज किया जाएगा। इसके बाद, शुल्क बढ़कर Rs. 10 प्रति दिन हो जाएगा। कृपया ध्यान दें कि रविवार और सार्वजनिक छुट्टियों को इस गणना में शामिल नहीं किया जायेगा, जिससे आपको गैर-कार्य दिवसों पर अतिरिक्त समय बिना किसी अतिरिक्त दंड के मिलता है।
